These two devote their lives to the abolition of slavery and\u00a0become\u00a0some of the earliest feminist speakers for women&#8217;s rights.\u00a0The story is told through the\u00a0voices of Sarah and also of\u00a0her slave girl, Hetty (Handful), given to her on her eleventh birthday as a present.
